One of my favourite poems is the karmic irony of a faded and forgotten king:

O.k I admit it.. I didn’t notice that Mountain Equipment Co-op stopped carrying the Bernoulli jackets — you know the ubiquitous Gore-Tex cycling jacket that nearly everyone wears (or the very similar lower cost non-waterproof version, the Venturi? (now Super Microft)). This probably happened over a year ago too… Now I’m looking to maybe replace my Bernoulli because it’s starting to get a few too many tears and grease stains. I’ve been thinking about different ways of conveying reams of information in a more navigable manner, and I stumbled across an alternative search engine site, KartOO. Under the hood, the engine is a meta-search engine that uses other search engines. However, the neat thing about KartOO is the graphical display of information as a pseudo road-map with sites linked by categories. I probably won’t switch from Google just yet, but KartOO definitely has some cool ideas about how to convey information in a non-traditional fashion. …
