Olivia is starting a new job today with a small consulting company in environmental and water assessment. It sounds very exciting, and a great change of pace. I’m so excited and proud of her. I hope the job is lots of fun! Good luck, Olivia!! YAY!
The only drawback, is that the job is even further north!! We will have to move north to make a good balance between my job location and hers. I wonder where that will be?

Is it just me, or has salsa dancing exploded in popularity? It seems like there are salsa clubs springing up everywhere, and so many people are either going salsa dancing or taking lessons. I didn’t even realize the popularity of salsa until my girlfriend and I started taking lessons together.
I have to say, salsa dancing is a LOT of fun! The dancing is fast enough and just complicated enough to keep things interesting for a long time. Even when you get all messed up in a dance …

Yesterday, I turned on the TV to sort of watch the Ten Commandments — You know, the original with crazy NRA Charlton Heston? Anyways, it turned out that ABC was airing a new remake of the Ten Commandments. Tuning in part way through I wasn’t that interested in watching it, but I was confused enough to look up the ABC website to find out what this movie was.

I’ve often wanted to try out solar power to offset electricity consumption, but prices and the power output of these systems makes it impractical. Recently, prices have dropped, solar panels have become more efficient and home “plug-and-play” kits are becoming available. Keeping track of a computer’s devices and installed software is pretty tricky if you do it by hand, but Belarc has a handy-dandy tool that gives you a quick summary of just about everything about your computer! Just install a little program that you can download for free and run it. It creates a nice little web page file that summarizes everything installed on your computer.
