O.k. I have Facebook, Microsoft Spaces, and my own website with various bits of blogs, photos and so on. It seems silly to replicate things in all three but it’s not necessarily obvious how to merge all sites. Ideally, a one click “mash up” would be the ultimate answer, but I’m not willing to spend the effort on creating a website that merges two (or three) competing website technologies. I’ve finally upgraded my gallery site to “Gallery 2″ (I wish they had a better name… Gallery is so generic). I’ve used the Carbon theme which is fairly ubuiqitous among Gallery users, but it is certain a very clean, modern looking theme that makes it easy to view photos. I’ve also upgraded the link between my Movable Type blogs and Gallery by rewriting MTGalleryLink to support version 2. It’s been seriously hacked, and much of the functionality is gone. Ok, Movable Type is moving a lot quicker now. This is the second upgrade in a month. I don’t think there are any obvious changes though. Hopefully everything still works great.

O.k. I’m all upgraded to Movable Type 3.14. This upgrade is supposed to help reduce comment spamming — which is really the only comments I’ve gotten so far. It’s supposed to be a little faster on updating the website too.
