Happy Valentine’s, My Sassy Girl!

flowersSo I was surprised early this morning at office group meeting. Just like Kyun-Woo (with a little gender reversal), my girlfriend “snuck in” to the meeting — complete with a hat/scarf disguise — and presented me with roses. I was incredibly embarassed and incredibly happy and I think my co-workers were incredibly jealous! I have such an amazing girlfriend!

The photo is from my cell phone, so it’s not very hi-resolution. Oh well, who cares right? They are paper origami roses and dried baby’s breath. Olivia stayed up late last night making them. I don’t think she got any sleep and she definitely did not get to work on time. Anyways, it’s pretty hard to concentrate on work at the moment! I love you Olivia. Happy Valentine’s Day! You’ve made feel so happy I’m bursting!

For those of you who may not know, “My Sassy Girl” is a great little Korean romantic comedy that is definitely worth seeing. “It’s the kind of movie where ‘Wanna die?’ means, ‘I love you.'” (subwaycinema.com).

I couldn’t find a photo from the rose scene where Kyun-woo is in disguise, but this is a photo just after he gives The Girl the rose.

Poor Kyun-woo takes a beating in this movie. By the way, the three photos from My Sassy Girl are probably copyrighted, but I believe they’ve been distributed for promotional purposes. If I’m in error, please let me know.
