Let's try again. What we were holding were three "perfect" (has to be perfect. Percy and JC checked everyone's leaves and commanded us to find another one if they did not pass the inspection) coca leaves. The leaves were used in a litle ceremony of offering to mother earth. Another thing in my hand was a little rock. We had to find a rock from our campsite that morning before we left and hulled it all the way up the mountain for this "offering". I picked a tiny rock to carry of course! haha...
